Mapúa University - Computing, Information and Technologies Alumni Association, Inc.
The Mapúa University – Computing, Information and Technologies Alumni Association Inc. or MUCITAA Inc. was founded on February 2018 when a group of young alumni from the School of Information Technology were called by Dean Ariel Kelly D. Balan to form a new organization separate from the old defunct association.
The group, composed of the different batches of graduates, started out a small project through a benefit screening of Avengers: Infinity Wars as its first activity both as a charity event and fund raising campaign for the organization. The event proved successful when it donated its proceeds to Kythe Foundation, a charity for children with Cancer, with some funds left, it was enough to kick start the organization.
Immediately, MUCITAA Inc. was welcomed by the National Association of Mapúa Alumni Inc. (NAMA) as its youngest affiliate where the MUCITAA President would serve as representative of the Organization to NAMA. By November 2018, it was accredited by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of the Philippines as a non-stock, non-profit organization.

Like all non-profit organizations, MUCITAA is only sustained by its members, the Alumni. Based on the Organization's By Laws, all graduates of the Mapúa University - School of Information Technology, are privileged to become a member of MUCITAA.
Launched this year, all our Membership Cards now come with Beep™ to provide our members a payment solution that they can use for most transportation systems (MRT, LRT, P2P, etc.), tollways (CavitEx and NLEX), Convenience Stores and more.
We have simplified our Membership Process through our Online Form to further increase our base. Currently, the MUCITAA Membership Fee options consist of the following:
¹ Yearly renewal is based on the validity of the Beep™ Card. (i.e. If your Membership Card's validity has passed, you need to pay again the Initial Fee of Php500.00.)
² Yearly renewal fee will be due until thirty (30) days from the start of your membership. If member fails to pay renewal fee, he/she would be charged with the Initial Fee again.
All members will receive a MUCITAA Membership Card with Beep™ (valid for 4 years) personalized with the member's student number, name, and program graduated with a QR code on the back.
NEW! You can now view your Membership Status through our Online Portal. Don't worry, we did not include your contact details! It is just about your Membership Status and your Beep™ Expiry Date.
As a member, your MUCITAA membership card is honored by our partners and you are required to present your card at the following establishments below. We are adding new establishments on our list. So watch out for it!
